What are Cookies?

Cookies are small portions of data that allow you to carry out statistics related to the use of the Site, to understand browsing experiences and any needs. The data collected thanks to cookies are used to make the browsing experience more pleasant and more efficient in the future.

Cookies can be divided into two types:

"first part", when they are managed directly by the owner and/or publisher of the website visited by the user; and/or

"third party", when they are managed by persons outside the website visited by the user. In addition, they can be further distinguished according to the purposes for which they are used: some allow better navigation, storing some user choices with respect to specific configurations (so-called "technical cookies") and thus guaranteeing increasingly performing features, while others allow to monitor the user's browsing also for the purpose of sending advertising and /or offering services in line with his preferences ("profiling cookies").

First-party cookies

This Site makes use of technical cookies and, in particular:

  1. Browsing or session cookies: fundamental to allow the user to move normally within the Site and to correctly enjoy the related services. Not being stored on the user's computer, they vanish with the browser closing;
  2. Functional cookies: only aimed at improving and speeding up navigation on the Site, through the storage of certain choices made by the user.

These types of cookies allow the normal navigation and use of the Site and allow you to correctly take advantage of the contents published by the Owner. The cookies used also allow you to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the Site. Cookies do not record any personal information relating to users and any identifiable data will not be stored. The user has the possibility to oppose the use of cookies. However, please note that by completely disabling the receipt of cookies in the browser, the user may not be able to use all the interactive features from this offer. With regard to these, the Measure imposes an opt-out regime. The user has the right to be informed, through this information prepared by the Data Controller, and may also choose to refuse his consent to the use of such tools.

Third-party cookies

It is possible that during the navigation of a user some cookies that are not directly controlled and managed by the Data Controller are stored on his device, such as when, for example, the user visits a page that includes the contents of a third-party website. With regard to these cookies, the User's consent is assumed given whenever the user clicks on the "I accept" button, present within the banner that appears on the homepage. The User may, in any case, withdraw his consent to the installation of such cookies at a later date.

These cookies, called "third-party", can be divided into:

  1. Analytical: used to collect and analyze statistical information on the number of users and visits to the Site. The deactivation of such third-party cookies does not compromise the use of the Site;
  2. Widgets/Plugins: some widgets and plugins made available by social networks (such as, but not limited to, the display of YouTube videos directly within the websites where the user is browsing) can use their own cookies to facilitate interaction with the reference site. The relative deactivation does not compromise the use of the Site, if not with a single reference to the possibility of rapid sharing of the contents and /or display of the multimedia content present within the same;
  3. Profiling: Used to collect information regarding the preferences and habits expressed by the user during their browsing and therefore to make the advertisements provided by third parties more engaging and targeted.
